ECAS open call for works

The ECAS network (which links European art and sound festivals and organisations), has an open call out for works.

ECAS is looking for one piece of work on the theme "Ubiquitous Art And Sound" (more details on the theme here). The selected artist will receive a €5,000 fee plus a €5,000 budget for production of the work, and applications must include the artist's CV, a project description and completed submission form.

The Wire's Nathan Budzinski will be on the judging panel for the prize, along with representatives from FutureEverything, TodaysArt and Insomnia, who will convene at the NextSound festival in Kiev.

The work chosen will be shown at TodaysArt in The Hague, Insomnia in Tromsø and FutureEverything in Manchester. Applications are open until 13 May. More details at ecasnetwork.org.
