Industrial Soundtrack For The Urban Decay film traces origins of industrial music

A film documenting the rise of industrial music will be premiered on 8 May

Industrial Soundtrack For The Urban Decay receives its film premiere at London’s BFI cinema on 8 May, followed by a further screening at London's ICA.

Documenting the emergence of industrial music in response to the political climate of the 1970s, it includes interviews with Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire’s Stephen Mallinder, and Test Dept’s Paul Jamrozy and Graham Cunningham, plus members of Hula, The Klink and In The Nursery, among others.
