Bad news and good news: The bad news is that Factory Floor's
Dominic Butler will not be able to perform with the group at
Primavera, or at Chris Cunningham's Roundhouse AV performance in
June.
The good news is that Chris Carter will be stepping
in for Butler on both dates. Prior to this collaboration, Nik Void
from Factory Floor will be joining Carter Tutti for the Friday
night of Short Circuit this weekend.
4AD's foray into dubstep continues with news of an

This news follows last month's announcement that

Choreographer Charles Linehan's dance piece
The Clearing will be performed in London later this month.
The Clearing features a specially commissioned score by

The work includes four dancers: Theo Clinkard, Rachel Lopez de
la Nieta, Rahel Vonmoos and Greig Cooke, and was performed for the
first time in October last year. On the bill with The
Clearing is The Fault Index, also by Linehan, which
is described as "celebration of isolated events", where a

every performance. London The Place, 19 May, 8pm, £6–£17.

Zed Bias is collaborating with reclusive UK
garage producer Steve Gurley on a 12" for Keysound Recordings.
Gurley, despite having a defining influence on UK two-step garage
and as a result, dubstep, has gone quiet in recent years, and this
is his first release after a long hiatus. The A side "Roll" is
described as an "explosive, dark UK funky track". The B side is a
"Dept Repaid" remix by Keysound label boss Blackdown.
A Colorado-based micro brewery has produced a beer
called Ghost Face Killah. The beer, made by the Twisted Pine
brewery, is a "six peppered beer dry hopped with ghost peppers, the
hottest peppers in the world".
Twisted Pine is only making around 100 bottles of
the beer, which is getting its own launch party on Wednesday 5 May
at the Twisted Pine Ale House in Boulder, Colorado. Ghost Face
Killah the beer is touted as the "hottest beer this side of hell",
so hot it's been submitted to the Guinness Book Of World Records.
Ghostface Killah the man has yet to speak on the matter.
